Creating Community Connections
Eastside Foundation brings people together, working with businesses, governments, nonprofits, and the general public to foster development of innovative community-based programs that address social challenges and opportunities on the Eastside.
Funding Nonprofit Service Organizations

A good relationship between business, government, and social services providers leads to a strong and healthy community.
Homes we can all afford. Better shelters for those in need. More behavioral health professionals to provide treatment. Stronger grade-level proficiency for our children. And a skilled workforce. These are all ways we can make the community stronger together.
Eastside Foundation hosts discussions, connects different groups, and mobilizes resources to drive these high-impact programs.
Health & Well-being
As the Eastside continues to experience growth, our community infrastructure presents opportunities for improvement and challenges to overcome.
Eastside Foundation supports organizations and initiatives that proactively address homelessness, affordable housing, substance abuse, mental health, and other areas of social services systems that are under strain.
Education & Culture
Education is a critical part of a strong economy and the community as a whole, and we are fortunate to have excellent schools on the Eastside from K12 through higher education institutions. But there are still challenges.
Eastside Foundation collaborates with nonprofits and other organizations that address the needs of children who fall through the cracks, areas of adult education and training that require increased support, and the general need for continuous improvement at all levels.
