David is CEO and President of Eastside Foundation. 

As CEO of Eastside Foundation, David works tirelessly to bring together different sectors of the community to create innovative solutions to complex social challenges, including homelessness and affordable housing. 

David is passionate about strengthening social service network of providers to better meet the needs of the Eastside community. He has dedicated his career to public service and improving the community. David is also a member of the Board of Directors of The Sofia Way.

Before joining Eastside Foundation in 2023, David spent almost 18 years at Porchlight (formerly Congregations for the Homeless) working to create innovative shelter, supportive services, and successful housing models for people experiencing homelessness. David led the efforts as Executive Director to site, finance, and build the first ever permanent men’s shelter and supportive service center in East King County.

David is a graduate of Leadership Eastside, an organizational leadership program, and earned his bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Washington and Masters of Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School of Theology & Psychology.
