Tony is Chairman of W2A, an issue management company anchored in both the Pacific Northwest and Washington, DC. W2A combines expertise in government, communications, public affairs and politics to manage all components of an issue. The firm has experience in a variety of areas including clean energy, commercial aviation, telecommunications, higher education, organizational governance, and professional development.

Prior to W2A, Tony spent 12 years on Capitol Hill where he managed political campaigns, served as a press secretary, and was Chief of Staff to a U.S. Senator from Washington State.

His Capitol Hill experience sharpened an understanding of public policy impact on the economy and the environment. Under Tony’s leadership, W2A has seen success in working with clients to maintain low energy rates, enhance transportation infrastructure, and secure funding for vital healthcare services in Washington State.

In addition to Eastside Foundation, Tony is a board member of several other civic organizations including Bellevue Chamber of Commerce, University of Iowa REACH Advisory Committee, Pi Kappa Alpha Foundation, Business Health Trust, and the OSU Beaver Caucus.
